Domain Name FAQ's

How do I purchase my domain name?

Please click on the domains link at the top of our website to purchase your domain name. We recommend purchasing your domain name for at least 2-5 years when you first purchase. This insures that your domain name is yours and is secure for that amount of time. This also helps avoid your domain name lapsing and losing it to someone else.

How will I know when it is time to renew my domain name?

UrbanDesignFirm.com will send you a 90, 60, 30, 15 and 5 day reminder in the mail and by email. We will also attempt to bill the card that the domain name was purchased on as well. If you fail to renew your domain name your website will be shut down until you renew the domain. A reactivation fee with be applied to get the domain name re-registered in your name.

Is there any important information I need to keep for my domain name?

Yes! You will need your login and password for your domain, try not to lose this. You will also be prompted to select a pin number when purchasing your domain name, this pin number will be the only way you can get your login/password back if you should happen to forget.

Will UrbanDesignFirm.com keep a record of my domain name information?

UrbanDesignFirm.com will only keep record of the domain name information while the website is being built. Your domain name login/password/pin is solely your responsibility.
